Dear colleagues,friends and sponsors , on behalf of LMHI Canada Chapter it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 80th LMHI World Congress, to be held in Toronto, Canada, from August 11-14, 2027, which marks an important milestone in the distinguished history of LMHI. For more than a century, the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica lnternationalis
(LMHI) has united the global homeopathic medical community through professional collaboration, education, research, and the exchange of clinical and scientific knowledge. It is with great honour that LMHI welcomes the international homeopathic community to Toronto-one of the world’s most diverse and globally connected cities-for the very first time.

Toronto is central to the historical roots of homeopathy in Canada. Ontario was the first province to regulate the profession in 1854 with the establishment of the Homeopathic Medical Society of Canada in Toronto. Homeopaths remained regulated under the CPSO from 1869 to 197 4. The profession achieved modern regulatory status on April 1, 2015, when the College of Homeopaths of Ontario (CHO) was established under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

The main theme “Global Harmony in Healing Through Holistic and Scientific Homoeopathic Approach” will be the paradigm as it reflects our commitment to uniting clinicians, researchers, educators, students, healthcare professionals, institutions, and industry partners in shaping the future of Homeopathic Medicine.

Toronto 2027 Congress will offer a dynamic platform to explore homeopathy’s evolving role in Modern contemporary healthcare. The programme created by the committee will emphasize scientific exchange, clinical excellence, innovation, and international collaboration, bridging traditional homeopathic knowledge with contemporary research and interdisciplinary perspectives.
